Description

With over 23 years of teaching experience, Ms. Paster enjoys working with students of all ages and all levels. Amy's students have won numerous honors including eight RCM Silver Medals as well as many trophies and scholarships in local & national music festivals.

Amy is the founder and director of the Sizzlers Fiddle Group (Vancouver & Victoria), a children's performing group that has toured across Canada and recorded 2 CDs! The Sizzlers play Klezmer, Celtic and international fiddle tunes from around the world.

Amy specializes in early childhood music education, working with students on the violin from 3 years old to adult.
A former RCM Examiner, she enjoys working with students on exam material including technical & musical requirements as well as working on 'fun' fiddle music for lighter style lessons.
