Description

I am an active musician and teacher, now living in Victoria. I have collaborated with musicians, dancers, visual artists, comedy theater, spoken word and have created many soundtracks for multimedia performances. After many years of teaching music I have become skilled at designing suitable education programs and goals for individual students. I am a good communicator, patient, supportive, very clear with directions and have a good sense of humour. I love teaching, offer traditional programs for all ages and can help you play by ear, create your own music, improvise and get off the page. I offer various group and individual classes including theory.

My formal training includes a classical piano background with studies in jazz and composition. I hold a Selkirk Professional Music College diploma and a University of Saskatchewan Teaching Diploma.
